The honors keep rolling in for the Emerald Ridge volleyball team following a season in which the Jags finished seventh at the state championships.
Three players were recently named to The News Tribune’s All-Area team. This prestigious honor goes to the top players from more than 60 local high schools regardless of classification.
Junior setter Olivia Puttler was named to the first team. And junior middle blockers Nevaeh Thomas and Olivia Henderson made the second team.
This is the second time Thomas and Puttler earned All-Area honors. Last season, Thomas made the first team and Puttler was on the second team.
